Giddy Duck This duck is 5 inches high and is fun to paint. Mayco paints were used in this project. Base coat duck Brightest Yellow. Make a wash of Honey toast. (water mixed with paint for a transparent look) Hold piece over a bowl and brush wash mixture over entire piece. Allow the wash to fill in the creases. Allow piece to dry thoroughly by placing in front of a fan. Drybrush 1-2 coast of Brightest Yellow over duck. Gradually add white to your brush and highlight belly, edges of wings, and around face. Paint feet and beak Orange Peel. Add a little bit of White to your brush and drybrush highlights. Paint eyelashes Golden Ochre. Drybrush a wash of Wedgewood Blue on eye lids. Spray with matt spray.
